The RES Garden at Stratford Cross
Relocated following RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the Royal Entomological Society (RES) garden was designed to inspire and ignite an interest in insects and insect science, and highlight the essential purpose they serve in the health and future of our environments. It aimed to impress upon the public the important role we play and how our choices affect insects, through the plants we cultivate, the habitats we create and preserve, and the time and interest we put into researching and protecting them.
In its final home in Stratford Cross the RES garden is open to the public and can be visited for free year round. It will also provide a space for learning and education, hosting school groups, colleges or professionals such as landacape designers, interested in learning more about insects and insect science.
With its fantastic location adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, it is sited in an area of rich urban nature, an amazing opportunity to study insect habitat in urban landscapes.
